Silvretta ski safari - pulled onto the Zeinisjoch by a snowcat...
The Silvretta Ski Safari is a superb journey through the snow from the Montafon to the Paznauntal valley in neighbouring Tyrol, organised daily by the Montafon ski schools, weather and snow conditions permitting. The day starts in the early hours of morning in Partenen. After the ride up on Vermuntbahn, participants take the tunnel bus to Bielerhöhe heights on the frozen Silvretta reservoir. After having descended to Galtür they transfer to Zeinisjoch on a snowcat. The culminating highlight is the downhill run to Partenen. The price of this ski safari is EUR 16, ski pass not included, but required.

Madrisa Round Trip Switzerland and back: this border–crossing, technically undemanding day tour takes skiers from Gargellen/Montafon to Switzerland and back, including ski coaches and transfers. During the seven-hour tour, skiers and snowboarders will marvel at stunning natural scenery and enjoy fantastic descents on varied slopes. Avalanche gear is required and can be rented on site.

Three ski safari days accompanied by professional guides who are familiar with the local terrain take skiers to the finest ski touring areas in the Bregenzerwald, on the Arlberg and in the Kleinwalsertal. The package includes three nights with half board in good hotels and one overnight in a mountain lodge, lift pass and transfers. Bookable from 19 to 23 Jan 2014, 9 to 13 Feb 2014 and 9 to 13 March 2014; prices starting at EUR 842 per person. A minimum of three participants is required.
