Silvretta ski safari Montafon
The Silvretta ski safari is an unforgettable ski experience which is organised daily (with a sufficient number of participants) or on request by the Montafon ski schools. The safari starts out in Partenen. After mounting uphill on the Vermuntbahn, you take the tunnel bus up to Bielerhöhe heights to the frozen Silvretta reservoir. Descent to Galtür and transfer on a snow cat to Zeinisjoch. The culminating final stretch is the descent to Partenen. The tour is easy to negotiate with an average level of fitness and a confident stem or parallel turn. No special touring equipment required.
Ski safari Kleinwalsertal
The ski safari Kleinwalsertal starts with a ride up on the Ifenbahn cableway. After mounting to Hahnenköpfle you will take the long descent to Schönenbach in the Bregenzerwald. On the skidoo you head to Bizau, and by taxi to Hochkrumbach. The last ascent will take you to Widdersteinhütte, before descending to Gemsteltal or Bärgunttal. This demanding safari requires safe skiing in open terrain and will be run even for one person. The price for one to three participants is EUR 220.
