Antony Gormley - Horizon Field

A landscape installation in the high alps of Vorarlberg. Horizon Field is the title of the largest ever landscape installation in Austria that was realized by Kunsthaus Bregenz together with the British sculptor Antony Gormley. Horizon Field is a horizontal field of 100 iron casts of a human body, placed in the mountains of the Hinterer Bregenzerwald, the Kleinwalsertal and the Arlberg.

    Horizon Field documentary video 2011

    Enjoy this new documentary video on the largest landscape intervention in Vorarlberg to date. This video by Kunsthaus art educator Winfried Nussbaummüller and cameraman Aaron Sutterlütte is a short version of a comprehensive documentation of the project which will throw light on the personal stories surrounding this fascinating landscape project, its impact and related anthropological issues.

    Film Projects

    2 film projects have already been realized. The project by KUB art educator Winfried Nußbaummüller and Aaron Sutterlütte (camera) will be presented in June. The ORF-production is already available in the KUB.
